Start your week doing something for you

One thing that I wished I had learned sooner:

start your week doing something for YOU.

It may sound simple, but too often we begin our weeks doing something for someone else. What we do for ourselves can look different for each of us, depending on where we are in our life journey. For some, this could mean doing something for themselves, their business, their mind and/or their body.

For me, this past week it was taking the time to sit outside without any distractions from social media or email and simply writing. This is something that fills my cup up and I notice that when I fill my cup up first, I have more energy and clarity to help others do the same.

This is especially important for entrepreneurs and business owners who need to remind themselves that their most important client is their business. If we don't spend time focusing on that, the rest won't follow.

So, let's take a moment to reflect: what is one thing you can do for yourself at the start of each week?
