17 years in corporate marketing turned solopreneur.
I studied at La Salle University in Philadelphia, PA. Graduating with a Bachelor’s in Marketing and still unsure how I saw myself fitting into the world of business. Working my way up through a traditional and not-so traditional path that landed me in the start-up world. If you are familiar with this space, you know that it feels like a mini MBA. No matter what position you are in, you are pulling weight in areas that you have never focused on before. It teaches you to think quickly on your feet, be okay with the unknown, take a leadership role and build 100% confidence about your view point. When I left my last gig at a micromobility company, I took some time to clear the cobwebs and think about what I have really enjoyed about my career, what I could live without and what I am still striving for. That ended up taking me down the path to solopreneurship. Thanks to my amazing network, I was able to get off the ground running in November of 2022.
my mission
My goal is to work with companies and individuals to help them realize their dreams. Whether it be a project that has been sitting on the burner or a career change that may seem scary, I want to utilize all of the skills and knowledge that I have obtained through my life and career and get you on the road to the next level.
I want to work with the right people on ideas that matter. I have a passion for bringing things to life, organizing thoughts and putting them on paper, working together with department stakeholders to ensure their pain points are highlighted. Making sure that everybody has a voice.
I would love to work together to help you define and crystalize what you want next. Whether you are a small business that has a big idea and not enough hands on deck or an individual that is tired of the hamster wheel. Let’s go on this journey together.
A guide to working with me.
here’s a glimpse
Into my own path of discovery and what led me to where I am today…
Reflecting on my journey to get here, I realize that I like to put the pieces of the puzzle together. Always finding a way to create new roles within an organization. Thinking outside of the box and determined to be solution focused.
It started with my internship turned full-time Marketing Coordinator position at a local parenting magazine. Business was good, but I was determined to find ways to provide the sales team an easier sell. Once I did this, they were able to grow organically with minimal stress.
It continued from there adding new skillsets as I went: OOH advertisement strategy, grand openings, B2B events, launching webinars, social strategy, campaign management, brand strategy, building partnerships and nurturing a community - to name a few.
With titles like Director of Mobility Partnerships, Regional Community Marketing Manager, Associate Director Public Affairs to Head of Events and Planning. I worked in a range of settings: local business, global business, small business, just getting starting business. I adapted to working remotely way before the recent growth of WFH.
The last few years were spent in the micromobility industry in a male dominate setting. This pushed me to own my voice. This also reflected back to me how much I have grown within my career. I reached the Associate Director role right before I went out on my own. This was a pivotal moment in my career. It was one of those I made it, now what. It didn’t feel anything like I thought it would and I realized my entire career was spent wondering “what’s next”.
It was time. I left the safety net of a 9-5 and took a leap of faith into the unknown and haven’t looked back.
Are you Ready…
